The bad news is that there are few electric vehicles for sale in Guatemala right now. The one company that seems to be taking the market seriously is BYD (http://www.bydauto.gt/). Unfortunately, they do not have a lot of models available right now.

Of what they do have, the T3 is the most interesting. It is an electric panel van. Also, coming this month is the D1. It was developed by BYD in conjunction with a taxi company in China. Nice vehicle but, unfortunately it is relatively expensive and is not based on the new BYD 800 volt platform — the basis of all their new models.

Personally, I am waiting for the AE1 also known as the Dolphin. It is a small hatchback (what seems to be called an SUV these days).
